Welcome to Keep Bossier Beautiful
Mission Statement
To establish the importance of litter prevention, beautification and recycling through education in our public schools as well as developing awareness of these environmental issues to citizens of Bossier City.
About Us
Keep Bossier Beautiful is a 501-(C) 3 Non-profit organization with a board of directors consisting of twenty-six (26) members and four (4) elected officers. The term is for a period of three (3) years with each term beginning January 1 and ending December 31. This board meets the fourth Thursday of each month at the Bossier Arts Council located at 630 Barksdale Blvd. Every month a residence and business is selected for a Beautification Award. KBB funding is through the City of Bossier City, grants, corporate sponsors and membership drive.
As an affiliate of KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL, "Beauty" is in our name, the result of what we do and it's what KEEP BOSSIER BEAUTIFUL is all about. Our many beautification efforts make our community safe, healthier and more livable. We have funded projects such as the Liberty Garden, Earth Day Fair, Gateways to Bossier, Clean Campus Contest and Telephone Book Recycling Contest and help to maintain many areas of our city. We believe that our efforts create a better community and a more beautiful world. Thank you to our Board, our Members, many volunteers and community service workers for helping to KEEP BOSSIER BEAUTIFUL.
